Sarah Claassen has worked with Ecological Design since 2015, assisting with project installations. She has a professional background in perennial agriculture, working for several perennial-based farms, at the Land Institute, and as a naturalist and gardener. She spent 5 years organizing around issues of land access and federal policy at the Land Stewardship Project. She is constantly learning from the plants and ecological dynamics of the world around her. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota and developing an orchard in western Wisconsin.
